Pietro Silvestri

Nato a Taranto ma da sempre vissuto a Massafra. Si affeziona ad uno strumento come l’organo già all’età di 4 anni, e dopo diversi anni di autodidattismo affianca agli studi d’arte e grafici quelli musicali, dapprima sotto la guida del M° Vincenzo Leo, ed a seguire i maestri Salvatore Mottola e Antonello Tannoia, dove dopo 8 anni di studi, affiancati a quelli universitari presso l’ateneo di Lecce conclusi con una laurea a pieni voti in scienze dei beni musicali e dello spettacolo (curr. Beni Musicali) sotto la guida della Chiar.ma Prof.ssa Daniela Castaldo nel 2010, consegue nel 2012 il diploma d’organo presso il Centro Didattico Musicale Italiano, sezione di Massafra per la provincia di Taranto. Oggi ha all’attivo numerosi concerti e conferenze sia in Puglia che in altre città d’Italia, come Massafra, Taranto, Lecce, Alessano, Manduria, Verona, Rovereto, Cles, Trento e Villa Lagarina. Attualmente ricopre il ruolo di organista presso la Parrocchia Sacro Cuore di Gesù in Massafra, assieme a ruoli di collaborazione e benemerenza: organista vicario e custode presso la Rettoria dell’Antica Chiesa Madre, organista ospite del Santuario Parrocchia Gesù Bambino, organista ospite presso il Santuario Diocesano Madonna della Scala, tutti in Massafra. Inoltre è fondatore di un trio dal nome “Le Melodie del Cuore” con le M° Rossella e Serena Mastrangelo, ed inoltre è organista collaboratore con il suo primo docente, il M° Vincenzo Leo, della Corale Polifonica San Francesco di Paola in Massafra.

Born in Taranto but has always lived in Massafra. He becomes attached to an instrument like the organ already at the age of 4 years old, and after several years of self-study she combines musical studies with art and graphics, at first under the guidance of Master Vincenzo Leo, and to follow the teachers Salvatore Mottola and Antonello Tannoia, where after 8 years of studies, joined the university at the University of Lecce concluded with a degree with honors in the sciences of musical heritage and entertainment (curriculum Musical Heritage) under the guidance of Chiar.ma Prof. Daniela Castaldo in 2010, she obtained in 2012 the organ diploma at the Italian Music Teaching Center, section of Massafra for the province of Taranto. Today he has numerous concerts and conferences both in Puglia and in other Italian cities, such as Massafra, Taranto, Lecce, Alessano, Manduria, Verona, Rovereto, Cles, Trento and Villa Lagarina. He currently holds the role of organist at the Sacred Heart Parish of Jesus in Massafra, together with roles of collaboration and merit: vicar organist and custodian at the Rectory of the Ancient Mother Church, guest organist of the Shrine of the Child Jesus Parish, guest organist at the Shrine Diocesan Madonna della Scala, all in Massafra. He is also the founder of a trio called “Le Melodie del Cuore” with M° Rossella and Serena Mastrangelo, and is also a collaborator organist with his first teacher, M ° Vincenzo Leo, of the Polifonic Choir of San Francesco di Paola in Massafra.
